During the month of February, Darryl Bell will host several special interview segments with classic black tv stars such as Marla Gibbs, Haywood Nelson & Jimmy Walker for TV One’s “Way Black When” series on ColorTV.
In this clip, Haywood Nelson & Ernest Thomas from “What’s Happening” talk frankly about the anger and hurt they felt over fat jokes aimed at fellow castmember the late Fred Berry – who played ReRun on the show.
